COMMUNITY UPDATES

CC&R FACE Fund Vote Continues

We Need Your Vote | Over 73% of our community has voted!  We still need your vote to achieve 50%+1 for either "Yes" or "No."

Misconception #1:
If the community approves the F.A.C.E. Fund vote, the Board can double the F.A.C.E. Fund contribution every year.

No, this is false. This is what would actually happen: If the vote is approved, under no circumstances can this Board or any future Board have the power to increase the F.A.C.E. Fund. Any increase above 2 times the annual dues would have to be approved by a majority homeowner vote.

Misconception #2
If the economic conditions change, we’re stuck with this F.A.C.E. Fund contribution.

No, this is false. This is what would actually happen: If the vote is approved, this Board or any future Board could reduce the annual F.A.C.E. Fund contribution if economic conditions change.

The Board would have the power to set the F.A.C.E. Fund contribution as low as 1 times the annual HOA dues and no higher than 2 times the Annual HOA dues.

If you need your voting credentials, email [email protected].

If you have additional questions, email [email protected].

Intel, Old Price Road Construction Update

Recently a letter was sent to Intel, Maricopa County Department of Transportation, and Chandler City officials, detailing a few of our concerns regarding this project. To date, we have received a response from Maricopa County, but not any of the other recipients.  You can read our letter as well as the response, here. (PDF)

Golf Cart Speed

Please slow down and give yourself a few minutes to get to your tee time or appointment. We have many walkers, bikers, and pets out enjoying the weather. We have also had a few close calls where someone walking has almost been hit by a golf cart. Speed down, Eyes up. Thank you.

Stone & Barrel Has a New Menu!

Come in and enjoy some of the new dishes being served up!

Walkers, Bikers, and Dog Walkers

Please wear light colored clothing and carry a light if walking during dark hours. The sun does not rise until after 7:00am, and it's dark by 6:00pm. This is a dangerous time, and you want to be visible when out exercising.

2021 Holiday Trash Schedule

Please note any changes to your trash service during the holiday season:

Holiday Decorations

Per your Rules and Regulations, "Year-ending holiday decorations are allowed between November 15th and January 15th."

For those who have no yet purchased amenities, resident annual memberships are available for sale at IronOaksAZ.com!

Here are some things you will need to be aware of:

  • If you and your spouse plan to purchase annual memberships, you each have to sign in with your own account. Once logged in, navigate to Fitness or Golf and look for "Amenities Fee Form." It's also an available link on the homepage banner.
  • If you sign in and your name is listed first with someone else (your spouse/partner) as the second name, this is your account. Please continue and select your amenities. Once your spouse/partner signs in, only his/her name will display.

Here's an example of what you will see:

Jim & Michele Smith | This is Jim Smith’s account.  Michele has her own account and will need to obtain a login.
  • After you select your amenities, click "Submit" and check your email. "Submit" only logs your amenity selection. Payment information will be sent to your email. Look for an email from [email protected]
  • Your Property / Account Number is also known as your Member Number, and can be found in the email confirmation towards the bottom of the email.

If you have questions, need assistance with your login or any other issues, please call Michele at 480.317.3620 or email us.

If you do not have computer access, please come by the Communications office in the Oakwood Clubhouse or the Accounting office in the Arts and Crafts department for additional assistance.

2022 HOA Dues Assessments

You should have received your statement either by mail or in your email. Statements will indicate the new amount of $1,168.50 (half of $2,337). If you have set up auto pay, your invoice will indicate there is nothing due and no further action is required.

Want to pay online? Go here and click “Pay Now.” Do not log in.  Credit cards will incur a 2.5% processing fee.

You may also pay by dropping off a check at any of the secured lock boxes located at the Oakwood Clubhouse, the drive-up box in the Arts & Crafts parking lot, or lock boxes located at the Oakwood & Ironwood Golf Shops, the Fitness Center East door, or outside the Accounting office.

Arts & Crafts Room Reservations

It's time to make your group’s reservations for the Activity Rooms for the 2022 calendar year. Several groups have consistent weekly reservations, and Patrol needs to know if the same schedule holds true for 2022.

Inquiries and reservations should be made via email. Reservations should be made in advance if possible, as calendars are printed and posted outside each activity room on the first of the month each month.

Comment Card Overview

Thank you to everyone who has sent in a comment card. We will have a full report for you next week.

If you have a comment that may apply to two areas, you only need to submit one comment. The Board is copied on all comments.

Comment cards are available online, here.
