Loop Highlights

FACE Fund Vote Count

Thank you to those residents who have already voted. We appreciate you taking the time to learn about this important issue in front of you for a vote. As of Tuesday, November 29th, we have had 2,723 votes submitted (68.3% of the eligible homeowners). Have your voice count and vote! We need everyone to participate in this important vote.

FACE Fund Top 3 Questions

1. If I vote "yes," will I receive a bill/assessment for the FACE Fund?
No. This is only for new buyers coming into IronOaks, purchasing a home.

2. What will be done with the money?
At this point, Pickleball lights have been identified as the next project. After that, the Master Plan Committee, along with Focus groups of homeowners, will be looking at Poolside, the main pool, and the Oakwood Golf Patio.

3. If the vote passes, will my dues go up? NO. Your HOA dues are determined annually by management and your HOA Board to cover department expenses, the reserve fund items, and some capital expenditures.

Buildings and Grounds Committee Update on Trees, Doggie Stations and Walking Path Requests

  • Because of the statewide water reductions effective January 1st, 2023, new tree requests are not available, and trees that have been removed due to winds, storm damage, and/or for safety concerns will not be replaced.
  • There have been several requests to implement a walking path around Finger Lakes at Ironwood. Due to the slope of this area and some objections by homeowners whose homes back up along the lakes, the Building & Grounds Committee will not advance this request.
  • The Buildings and Grounds Committee considered the request for doggie stations. Due to the cost and ongoing maintenance, they will not advance this request.

Pay Your 2023 Annual HOA Dues

  1. Setting up your payments through a secured online payment portal
  2. Using your banking institution
  3. Mailing / delivering a check / cash

IronOaks will now be offering new payment options for your annual HOA Dues, as the previous ACH method has been discontinued.

A “How-To” instructional page is available here. If you would like help over the phone, please call Community Services at 480.317.3641.

We will be having an in-person “How-To” open house in our Community Services office in the Ocotillo Room on December 7th between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. The Community Services office is located at 24218 S. Oakwood Blvd. It will be the first building on the left when you enter the Clubhouse drive. Look for the signs and balloons.

Please join us to meet the team and learn about the different payment options available. Feel free to contact Lynelle Glysson via email or 480.317.3601.

Intel Update

Recently a call was held with John Reyhons, General Manager; John Porter, Resident and Intel Liasson;  Paula Ferguson, Board Member; Lynelle Glysson, Exec. Director Community Services; Michele Renahan, Communications Director; Jennifer Sanchez and Brenda Peralta from Intel. We received updates on:

  • The wall running between Intel and the homes in Units 34, 36, and 36 C-Anticipated to be 90% complete by the 1st quarter of 2023. A section of the wall as well as the two ends (East and West) will remain open to be access points for tree removal once approved. Nesting eagles continue to stall the removal of the dead trees.
  • The wall will be stained, but will not have green or have stucco applied.
  • Puddling of water is being looked at. We want to mitigate mosquito issues during the rainy monsoon season.
  • Speed control measures on Price Rd continue to be in place. A speed trailer has been set up and will be moved closer to the homes. Intel is working with the county on reducing the speed limit along that entire stretch of road to 25 mph (from 35 mph)

If you have general concerns or questions, please email Jennifer by December 7th. She is working on an update to go to all homeowners the week of December 12th. She would like to be able to address any concerns or questions you may have.

If you have specific concerns about your home due to the Intel construction, please email your name, address, phone, details of the concern, and any pictures to Jennifer

SRP Work & N. Dobson Road Closure

Closures will resume at 6:00am on Saturday, December 3rd, and will continue through 7:00pm on Sunday, December 4th. It is anticipated this work will continue the following weekend, December 10th and 11th.

Key points about the closure:

  • Residents will not be able to travel west on Chaparral Road starting from Blue Ridge Road. The road is closed to traffic going west at that point.
  • Residents will not be able to travel North or South on Dobson Road. The road is closed to traffic both ways starting at Canyon Road.
  • Residents traveling north on Dobson Road from the Sun Lakes area must turn right (east) on Chaparral Road, as the road is closed traveling north.

This will affect ALL auto and bike traffic. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated and will be allowed to access to IronOaks via the N. Dobson gate if needed.

If you have questions, please contact the SRP Project Team at 602.236.2872.
