Paving Project for Oakwood Clubhouse Area

The Board approved the repaving of the Oakwood Clubhouse parking lot and Oakwood Blvd. There will be a preconstruction meeting to determine the schedule. We expect this project to start on November 7th and we will have the full schedule published soon. We have a very active community and understand that access to the amenities is extremely important. The work will be scheduled in a way that has the least amount of disruption to the activities being held at the Clubhouse.

Pet Waste

Respect Your Neighbors: Proper Disposal of Pet Waste! We've all seen it - the temptation to toss that bag of pet waste into a neighbor's garbage can instead of carrying it all the way home to your own. After all, it might seem like a convenient solution at the time. However, it's crucial to remember that disposing of your pet's waste in someone else's garbage can is simply not acceptable, and here's why:

  1. Respect for Others: Your neighbors' garbage cans are their property, and it's important to respect their space. Placing your pet waste in their bin without permission is invasive and inconsiderate.
  2. Odor and Hygiene: Pet waste can carry unpleasant odors and potential health risks. By depositing it in someone else's can, you may be subjecting them to unnecessary discomfort and potential health hazards.

The responsible approach is to carry your pet's waste back to your own home and dispose of it in your own trash can. Many pet owners use biodegradable bags that are both eco-friendly and convenient.

Pickleball Lights

This FACE fund project is completed, but some minor adjustments are being finished to ensure court coverage is appropriate and nearby homes are not disturbed.

Bring us your and/or your spouse’s military photo. We’d love to scan it for a special presentation during our Veteran’s Day breakfast on November 13th. The Concierge or the Communications office will be collecting, scanning, and returning photos up until November 8th.

Arizona Humane Society’s Pet of the Week: Bryce!

Bryce's signature smile is sure to brighten any dog lover's day. This handsome tan and white Smooth Collie mix is a playful dog who is just waiting to meet his new best friend. Bryce can be a little shy when he meets someone new but just give this boy a scratch behind his ears, and you'll have a loyal friend for life. He would love to find someone who will take him on long walks and spoil him with lots of fun dog toys. Bryce is a large dog who weighs about 52 pounds. Like most Collies, Bryce is an extremely smart dog. He has picked up some basic training during his time here at the Arizona Humane Society. Our amazing volunteers have even managed to teach him how to use some of the agility equipment in our doggie play yards. Come meet Bryce today at the Arizona Humane Society's South Mountain Campus.  If you’d like to see Bryce in action, check out his video.
