San Tan Animal Rescue Needs Your Help | LAST WEEK FOR DONATIONS

Thank you to everyone who donated. The Rescue said they received overwhelming support that will go a long way in making rescues comfortable and happy while they're waiting for their fur-ever home. The collection chest will be relocated Monday, September 4th, and no further donations will be taken after this time until the next collection date later this fall.

Spam/Phishing Email

A homeowner brought this to our attention. They received an email from what appeared to be a past HOA Board President requesting gift cards on the Association’s behalf to donate to Veterans in Hospice and palliative care for COVID supplies. This is a scam!  If you receive this email or anything similar, please delete it immediately. None of the HOA management, Board, or Committee members will ever ask you to provide electronic gift cards for charity, events, or funding.

Community Services Reminders

The landscaping team will start lowering mow heights in preparation for overseeding. You may see the grass start “yellowing” in the coming weeks.

We are getting to the final areas for palm tree trimming. The crew will be trimming the palm trees in units 34, 36, and 36A and then at the Champagne entrance.

Maintenance | Concrete work will be done on the walking path between Mossy Rock and Teakwood. Small sections will be removed and re-poured. You can still use the walking path; you will just need to walk around the small areas being worked on. Thank you for your cooperation.

Did You Know? | You can subscribe to the IronOaks Youtube channel and you will be notified when we post a new video! Click here to check out the IronOaks Youtube page.

Once there, look for the "Subscribe" button. It's just that easy.  Keep in mind that some of our videos, Committee and Board meetings, are “unlisted,” meaning you need the link to view them. This keeps our “community business” from being viewable by the general public. Meeting links for Board and Committee meetings can be found on the Member website Board and specific Committee pages, on the tab called “Recordings”. Enjoy!

Upcoming:

  • Fitness Advisory | Monday before the HOA Board Meeting at 3:00pm in the Bradford Room

The java is hot, but John is out of the office this week. He’ll return next week with updates and news.

Arizona Humane Society’s Pet of the Week: Marigold

Marigold is a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who needs a little extra love and attention. This sweet girl was rescued from a hoarding situation by one of the Arizona Humane Society's Emergency Animal Medical Technicians earlier this month. When she first arrived at AHS, Marigold was understandably frightened. Slowly, our dedicated behavior team members and volunteers have earned her trust and got her tail wagging again. Marigold is still shy when meeting new people, but we know with the right family, her personality will blossom! She would love to find a patient family who can give her the time she needs to adjust to her new life and come out of her shell. She is waiting to meet her new family at AHS' South Mountain Campus. Learn more about Marigold at azhumane.org/adopt.

Pet of the Week Update

We did a quick check of pups and cats highlighted in our Pet of the Week series. It looks like every pet we have featured has been adopted! We are preparing to host an adoption event in October.  Stay tuned for more details in upcoming issues of Stay in the Loop.

Upcoming Pet Event with Rover’s Rescue

Rover’s Rescue would like to invite you to stop by for a visit and say "hello" at our upcoming Meet and Greet Adoption Events with Rover’s Rest Stop, September 9th and October 14th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm each day in Cottonwood Room A7.

Rover’s Rest Stop Kids are excited to tell you they have your back!  Keep watch for the Fall launch of their new program providing information on how to care for your furry kids during an unexpected emergency.
