Beginning the second week of June, homeowners will begin to receive their semi-annual assessment notices in the mail. Electronic statements will go out June 2nd. If you need to update your mailing address, please fill out the online form. You may also send your updated address via email. Deadline to update your mailing information is May 30th.

Judy Wiegand, new Unit Captain, is having emails returned as "undeliverable" or "mailbox full." If you haven't received something from Judy in a few weeks, please send her your email address along with your name and lot number. Judy's email is [email protected].

Cox Communications has hired American Cleaning Systems to begin removing the markings from roadways and sidewalks. Work has started in the Southwest corner of the community in the Nacoma Street area. They will continue to move throughout the community. If you have flags in your yard from the Cox work and you are NOT having work done, please remove them and throw them away.

The tree trimming crew will be in the walking path this week. They will continue to trim trees in this area through the end of June. They will then start trimming the palm trees. The palm trees in the common areas are Fan Palms that are trimmed around July. Date Palms need to be trimmed in June after they start to bear fruit.

We had a great comment / question come in recently and we thought it was important enough to share with all residents. 

Southwest Gas does not keep community gate codes or any kind of access for their service technicians. They do not want responsibility if there is a communication breach. This is another reason why every homeowner should know how to use the entry system available at the Halley, Sun Lakes, N. Dobson, and EJ Robson gates.

Here's the process to let your guests in:

1. When they arrive, they tap the screen to “wake it up.”
2. They then tap "Directory."
3. They tap the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
4. They then type in the last name of the homeowner, and touch the homeowner’s name once displayed.
5. Once you've identified the caller as someone you want to let in the gates, touch 9 on your phone. This will open the gate.

We appreciate everyone’s input on the summer hours. Based on this input, we have reconsidered the hours for Grill on the Green. They will be as follows:

• Grill on the Green (new hours starting Monday, May 22nd)
  Monday - Saturday, 10:00am - 9:00pm (Friday nights the bar will remain open until 10:00pm)
  Sunday, 10:00am - 8:00pm
  
  And join us weekly for:
  Tequila Tuesdays - $5 frozen margaritas
  Broasted Wednesdays for a special broasted meal
  Thirsty Thursdays with an All Day Drink Special and a chef featured dinner special
