IronOaksAZ.com Website

Did you know that the IronOaksAZ.com website is a wealth of knowledge?

Next time you want to know some financial information, you can find it on your community website. Wondering when the next Board meeting is, and what decisions they will be making? That information is there, too. Most recently, we moved all of the community literature - including the Stay in the Loop - to the “Lifestyle” section of the website. This enables you to find the financial information more easily, as it is all in the "Financial" section under "HOA."

HOA is where you can find:

  • Board Meeting Agendas
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Requests For Board Actions
  • Committees
  • ...and More.

Soon you will receive an overview of the information provided at the recent Homeowner Informational Sessions, via email. This overview will include a follow-up survey. This is your opportunity to provide input on what you liked and what you didn’t like; what you are willing to pay for, and how much; and so much more. Please take the time to review the information and complete the survey. One survey per home, please.

Bulk Trash Important Information | April 21st

A note for those who signed up for this free bulk trash pick up service: Due to the overwhelming response, Waste Connections (also known as Right Away Disposal) will be picking up these items over a two-day period. If your items are not picked up on Thursday, don’t worry - and there is no need to call. The trucks will be back to pick your items up on Friday.

Pickleball Court Closure

On Monday, May 2nd, the Pickleball courts will be closed so repairs can be made to the seals, cracks, and joints around the courts. This work will be done in the morning and will need the remainder of the day to cure. The courts will be locked during this time, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 3rd.

Oakwood Clubhouse Wi-Fi

Age Verification Request Form

Due to new requirements by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), we now must have age verification forms from our residents. These forms must be updated every two years to enable IronOaks to maintain its age minimum requirement resident requirements. If you have not done so already, please pick up a form in one of these locations:

  • Fitness Center
  • Oakwood Concierge Desk
  • Oakwood Golf Shop

The form is also available at IronOaksAZ.com. Once you log in, the top banner will display, showing "55+ Age Verification Form." Fill in the information, list every resident living in your home, along with their birthdates. You can sign the form using your mouse (or your finger if on a touch device). When you click "Submit" on the form, it will be securely, electronically delivered to the person handling the forms.

Comment Card Overview

For Comment Cards in this past week, we had 7 positive, 16 negative, and 27 neutral comments come in. Comments received included (with our responses in italics):

  • "Please change option for Grill on the Grill remodel to not include high-tops."
  • "We do not need to look like Scottsdale. We do not have million dollar homes (Master Plan)."
  • "If we homeowners spend $22.3 million, do we get free access to Fitness Center?" - All options are under consideration. When you receive the survey, please include your suggestion.
  • "Please correct age verification form to allow signature online." - You can sign the form online.  Use your mouse, or if you have a touch screen, you can use your finger to sign.
  • "Lots of weeds growing in front of homes, please send notices to homeowners." - The compliance officer is monitoring the situation and sending notices when appropriate.
  • "Thank you to everyone who put together the Master Plan Meeting...very informative."

While we do not publish all the comment cards, we do print the ones communicating the prevailing themes. As an example, we may receive two, three, or more cards expressing the same concern.  They are counted individually, but only one is published.

We have been requested to post the reasons why residents didn’t want the power boxes around the community painted with scenes.  Here is what we heard:

  1. It is distracting and could cause an accident.
  2. We aren’t SoHo.
  3. It will mess up the current aesthetic of the community.

Comment cards are available online, here.
