Lakes Course Closure | May 6th

With the upcoming construction, homeowners will begin to notice:

  • Lake level on Green #9 & Tee #2 will be lowered below the shelf for new piling installation
  • Materials will begin to be delivered and stored in the area of the Lakes course comfort stations.  Homeowners living in these areas have been contacted directly and every effort is being made to keep materials organized and in areas out of general view.

Oakwood Main Pool, Lap, and Kiddie Pool Upcoming Closure | May 1st-20th

This extensive project will begin shortly and we understand timing is not ideal for our homeowners and their guests who enjoy using these pools. Here are some additional details as to why this project is taking place now:

  • Very few companies do this type of leak detection and repair. The repair work is scheduled specifically during this time and in early fall due to the heat and cold conditions during other times.
  • The pools will be completely drained.
  • Skimmers will be cut out and removed from the decking for replacement and repair.
  • Pipes that are currently leaking will have the decking jack-hammered to repair.

This work is extensive and very dirty and dusty, and the pools require being drained, forcing us to close the entire area. The pools in the Ironwood section of IronOaks will be available for your enjoyment. These include the Voax, Halley, and Ironwood Clubhouse pools.

Miscellaneous

Pet Of The Week

Meet Freya, a 4-year-old spayed female, sable and white Boxer mix weighing 43 pounds. Freya was found as a stray who was an active mom of five puppies, back in November. Freya was a great mama, keeping her puppies safe on the streets, but she had some medical concerns of her own that needed attention. She was treated for ringworm and is currently undergoing treatment for an ear infection. Despite her rough beginnings, Freya is ready to take on the world with her new family! She is a very friendly girl who might be nervous at first and needs some time to gain trust in her new home. She would love to be the only furry child in her new home, please!

Freya’s adoption fee is waived through the weekend! If you would like to adopt Freya, visit her at our South Mountain Campus or view all other adult dogs with waived fees here.
