Please note: while the celebration goes on in the Oakwood Ballroom, the two restaurants will be closed for Easter.

Join the Fitness team for some good old fashioned fun and a little exercise, too! Around Diamond Lake, participants may find a hidden bunny gem, which can be exchanged for a prize. After the fun, the Fitness team will be serving up breakfast burritos.

The Crystal Card Project will be selling cards in the Bradford Room at the Oakwood Clubhouse on Wednesday, April 12th. Thanks to the overwhelming support of Sun Lakes residents, the Crystal Card Project has now donated in excess of $75,000! This is a truly amazing accomplishment considering all cards are STILL just $1. Money generated by the project is donated to My Sister's Place, a local domestic violence crisis center for women and their children.

  The tree trimming crew will be on the walking path in 36A starting Monday. If we haven’t gotten to your unit, we will be there soon!

At the January Board meeting, Lynelle Glysson presented Access Controls and Safety Measures. Patrol’s areas of responsibility were included. You can view the full presentation here.

The summer flowers are being put in starting the week of April 10th.

Please plan to use another pool April 19th-23rd while work is being conducted on the Ironwood Pool. This date is updated from the original dates of April 12th-15th.

The Oakwood Pool will be closed on April 25th for the day, to do core drilling on the pool deck. The pool will be closed for the entire day. Once cores are drilled, the areas will be marked with cones. Please avoid these areas.

Held this past weekend, this shared tournament between our Sun Lakes Pickleball Club and Sun Lakes Tennis Club is excited to announce they have raised $19,9013 for Neighbors Who Care! They would like to thank the numerous volunteers who assisted in making this event a huge success, their multitude of sponsors, and of course, those who donated and participated. Fiona is a small Cairn Terrier who is just waiting and hoping to meet you as her new family.  She is 5 years old and weighs just over 12 pounds. Miracle is an outgoing Collie mix who loves to meet new people. This sweet mama dog was rescued along with her 6 puppies from Utah last month. At the time she was found, Miracle was struggling to keep her little puppies warm amid the frigid temperatures near the Four Corners area. After she was brought to the Arizona Humane Society, Miracle was placed in a cozy foster home where she could continue to nurse her puppies. Now that her puppies are all grown, it's time for Miracle to find a home of her own. She is a happy-go-lucky dog who greets everyone with a big tail wag. She would love to find a family as loving as she is. She is a medium-sized dog who weighs 31 pounds. Miracle is waiting to meet someone special at AHS' PetSmart Scottsdale adoption location.
