Low Flying Aircraft

Thank you to everyone who sent information on flights that appeared or sounded like they were extremely low, loud, or both. I have sent all the information to the airport director. After researching, it is determined that all of the planes were flying within the approved regulatory altitude. He did mention that some of the planes flying out of the Chandler Airport (CHD) are historical, which makes them fly slower and louder than a more modern plane. CHD is one of the nation's 50 busiest general aviation airports. The airport hosts a variety of general aviation activities including flight training, charter flights, military exercises, public safety operations, aircraft repair and maintenance, and aircraft sales. The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association has developed a “Fly Friendly” program to be a good neighbor to surrounding communities.
