We want to help shed some light on the blue stake process that is taking place when you or a neighbor order services from a gas, water, or communications provider.

While it can be an inconvenience to incur trenching, flagging, or street markings, blue staking is necessary and required by law to ensure that you are not inflicting injury or impacting major services in your neighborhood. Click here to learn more.

If you have citrus that needs to be picked, Sun Lakes Citrus Sharers are looking for you. This group picks the fruit off your trees and donates the citrus to St. Mary’s Food Bank and last year they donated over 200,000 pounds. Only a few spots remain, so call Laura at 206.228.5155 to check on space and schedule.

The iconic fountain at the EJ Robson entrance (Palms 7) has been inoperable for a while. We are working with a vendor and are anxiously awaiting the new fountain from the Galaxy series, including majestic nozzle selections to arrive soon. The vendor is finalizing the release and production. We have been assured the wait will be worth it.

On the dates indicated, the entire restroom area will be closed for painting.  Please plan to use another restroom on these days:

We have been made aware of golfers using the golf course as a restroom. This is not acceptable, and could result in a suspension of golf privileges.

Callaway and XXIO will be at the Oakwood Driving Range for you to be able to test the latest and greatest golf gear. This equipment was first seen recently at the Orlando Golf Show. Be sure to get your hands on the equipment to make your golf game the best it can be.  Sign up at the Oakwood Golf Shop.

The First Tee will be accepting clubs, bags, and shoes for their youth program. They will be at the Oakwood Golf shop on Tuesday, February 20th, from 9:00am-2:00pm for you to drop off golf related items you don’t use anymore.

We have passed both the special and county inspections, and we have poured the cement for the footings as of Wednesday, February 14th. Once the cement is dry, we will move on to the next step of the process. Stay tuned for details.

From February 29th through March 3rd, 2024, the Jason Morton Tennis Tournament will be here at the IronOaks Tennis courts.  Please join us for some amazing players and volleys as they compete in this prize money USTA-sanctioned tournament. Be aware if you are around the tennis courts and the Oakwood Clubhouse, traffic will be heavy and you may need to allow more time to find parking. Also, the Ironwood courts will be reserved for tournament play during this time. Be patient and be aware of the many people walking through the parking lot and surrounding area.

Meet Lily, a 40 pound, 1-year-old spayed female, black and tan Collie – Smooth mix. Lily is a sweet girl who’s searching for a patient and understanding home that can appreciate her shy nature. Lily may be a little bashful at first, but once she warms up to you, she’s a loyal and loving companion! She has a medical disclosure from healing wounds from a dog fight in her previous home. She will need to meet all dogs in her new home, or be the only pup!
