These pools will be closed beginning Friday, February 3rd, and will re-open Sunday, February 5th. This closure is to drain and refill the pools. This process, while inconvenient, is necessary to maintain the proper chemical balance of the pool water.

Focus Group Follow Up

The focus groups for the Oakwood golf patio and Poolside recently met with several groups consisting of homeowners.

Here are the minutes from those meetings:

Community Services Kind Reminders

  • Home Exterior Projects | Did you know that any alterations to the exterior of your property need to be approved? Some alterations can be approved in our Community Services Office and some alterations need to go to the Architecture and Landscape Committee for approval. This helps us to maintain an aesthetically pleasing community.
  • Check Your Chits | Last week, we shared information about golfers’ chits. The question came up asking how a golfer can check the balance on their Chits/Credit book. Here’s how:
  1. Log in to Ironoaksaz.com
  2. Once logged in, on the home page, you will see “My Statement”. Click on that.
  3. Across the page, you will see tabs. Click the tab that says, “Credit Book Activity”.
  4. Your earnings and what you have spent will be shown.

Ironwood Construction News

Construction continues at a feverish pace and the team is excited to be planning and training. At this time, we're waiting for our Certificate of Occupancy and our health inspection with the county.  We're looking forward to the opening as much as our homeowners, and we will keep you posted as we know more. Get excited for a delicious menu, live music on Wednesdays and Fridays, Open Mic Night the 2nd Tuesday of each month, and if you like frozen margaritas, good news - we’ll be serving them up!

Stone & Barrel | We Saved You A Seat

Our homeowners are our priority, and we want to make sure you always have a seat at the table at Stone & Barrel. If you plan on joining us - during peak times, or even when it's slow - give us a quick call a couple of days ahead of time. This helps us during the slow times to schedule staff efficiently, and during peak times, you have a better chance of getting a table. Remember, while Grill on the Green is closed for remodel, we are even busier than normal during those peak times of 5:00pm-6:00pm. The sooner you make a reservation, the better.

Give us a call at 480.317.3605 or make your reservation here.

Pet of the Week, Isais!

Isais is a loveable goofball who loves meeting new people. He greets everyone he meets with a big tail wag. This 4-year-old American Foxhound is still a pup at heart. He absolutely loves to play with his squeaky toys. His sweet, easy-going personality would make him the perfect addition to any household. He already knows some basic manners like how to "sit" and "stay," but he's eager to learn more tricks... in exchange for yummy treats, of course. Isais has traveled a long way to find his forever home. He was originally rescued by a shelter in Hawaii. Now he's hoping to find a permanent home here in the Valley of the Sun! Learn more about Isais and make an appointment to meet him, at azhumane.org/adopt.

Even if you can't adopt, you can help pets like Isais by taking a swing at AHS' Home-in-One Golf Tournament! This third annual tournament will take place on Friday, April 7th, 2023 to raise funds for our community’s most vulnerable pets. Spend the day out on the links at McCormick Ranch Golf Club and help save lives! From puppies on the putting green to doggies on the driving range, you will not want to miss this furr-tastic day. Register at azhumane.org/golf.
