Loop Highlights

Coffee First with John Reyhons | This Friday, January 27th

Plan to stop by Stone & Barrel’s Alcove Room this Friday, January 27th, from 8:00am-9:00am. John Reyhons will be available for homeowners to have a cup of coffee, a breakfast treat, and chat!

Oakwood Main & Lap Pool Closure

These pools will be closed beginning Friday, February 3rd, and will re-open Sunday, February 5th. This closure is to drain and refill the pools. This process, while inconvenient, is necessary to maintain the proper chemical balance of the pool water.

Ironwood Concrete Sealing | Friday, January 27th - Monday, January 30th

The Grill on the Green concrete (including the patio area) will be getting sealed this weekend. Heaters will assist in the curing process since we do not have warm weather forecast. Please DO NOT move tape / barricades or walk on the concrete this weekend.

Tree Trimming Schedule
Tree trimming will continue on the Loop. Once that's completed, they will start trimming trees in Unit 46. Trees will be trimmed every other week until they're complete.

Landscaping Schedule
On January 30th, regular maintenance will continue in the walking path around unit 36A.

Buildings and Grounds Traffic Test

In the Traffic Study, one of the areas of concern was the Oakwood Clubhouse traffic pattern, the amount of traffic and the speed of that traffic. Homeowners will notice an area East of the Clubhouse roundabout closed. This will detour golf carts and automobiles to turn right and circle the roundabout to exit the Clubhouse parking lot, and those crossing over to turn right before turning left. This is a test to see if safety improves. Please see the map below.

Stone & Barrel | We Saved You A Seat

Our homeowners are our priority, and we want to make sure you always have a seat at the table at Stone & Barrel. If you plan on joining us - during peak times, or even when it's slow - give us a quick call a couple of days ahead of time. This helps us during the slow times to schedule staff efficiently, and during peak times, you have a better chance of getting a table. Remember, while Grill on the Green is closed for remodel, we are even busier than normal during those peak times of 5:00pm-6:00pm. The sooner you make a reservation, the better.

Give us a call at 480.317.3605 or make your reservation here.

Pet of the Week!

Pepper is an energetic Catahoula Leopard Hound mix who loves to run and play. He is not letting age slow him down one bit. Despite being 11 years old, he never turns down a game of fetch. Tennis balls and squeaky toys are some of his favorite things. Pepper is also very smart. He's already house trained, crate trained, and he knows how to "sit," "stay," and "lay down." Despite all these amazing qualities, Pepper hasn't had any luck finding a family of his own. He has been patiently waiting for a home since November. He is still keeping his paws crossed that someone special will adopt him. Pepper prefers to be the center of attention and needs to be the only pet in his new home. Learn more about Pepper and make an appointment to meet him at azhumane.org/adopt.
