IronOaks Master Plan Update

In August of 2020, the IronOaks Board and BlueStar contracted with the McMahon Group, a full service, private club consulting firm dedicated to serving clubs in all aspects of their strategic planning needs. The purpose was to assist the Master Planning committee in developing a strategic plan for our community. The first phase of the project was to conduct a homeowner survey in 2021 regarding the future desires of the community. The results of your input was the beginning of the committee's work with The McMahon Group to draft conceptual plans for the beginning of a Strategic plan for Iron Oaks.

Cox Communications is Coming Soon

We recently met with the Cox Communications team. Residents in many areas of our community will begin to notice blue staking, paint indicating key electrical and gas lines running underground, and members of the Cox team on site. During this exciting time, we are asking our residents:

  • Please do not wash the paint to get rid of it These are very important markers for the project.
  • Allow the workers to work unimpeded. We will soon provide contact information to a dedicated community liaison who can answer many of your questions.
  • If you do have questions, please feel free to contact the communications office at 480.317.3620.

We anticipate being able to communicate key dates, timing, areas impacted, and more on what to expect, in the next week.

New Year’s Eve Photos Available Now!

A few photos remain. You have until Monday at 4:00pm to pick them up before they are disposed of. Thank you!

Trash Service with Waste Connections of Arizona (aka Right Away Disposal / "RAD")

Please place your cans out the night before, or before 6:00am. Drivers start collection in IronOaks at 6:00am.  Additional tips for service:

  • Position carts on the street, with the wheels as close to the curb as possible.
  • Allow 3 feet between each cart.
  • Allow 10 feet away from cars, mailboxes, landscape, or anything else that may interfere with service.

Crystal Award Winners Ceremony | Sunday, March 13th

Enjoy a dinner celebrating those in our community who give back tirelessly. Tickets are on sale for $25 per person at the Cottonwood Palo Verde Administration Building (check or cash only), or you can purchase online.

The dinner menu will include:

  • Hors d'oeuvres
  • House Salad & Rolls
  • 6oz Chateaubriand
  • Mashed Potatoes & Asparagus
  • Cheesecake

The Cash Bar will open at 5:00pm, with dinner starting at 6:00pm.

Fruit Trees

Please begin picking fruit from your trees. This is the time of year, trees have plenty, and the roof rats and other rodents love a free meal. If you place it out for neighbors, please bring in whatever is left, as again, rodents love the food.

Gate Closures (Updated)

Please be advised that each gate will be completely inaccessible for the duration of the replacement work, which means 24 hours/day. Therefore, it is highly suggested that you prepare in advance for these closures as they affect your travel in and out of the community.

Homeowner ID Cards

Please have your Homeowner ID cards with you when you are at any of the pools, or the Pickleball and tennis courts. Random checks are being conducted.

Dog Owners

Please be reminded that pets are not permitted in any of the IronOaks buildings, pool areas, golf courses, or the softball field (exception: trained service dogs accompanying persons with disabilities). When in all other areas, other than the confines of your fenced yard, dogs must be on a leash, which may be no longer than 6 feet. And remember, it is your responsibility as a pet owner to clean up after your pet. If your dog poops, you scoop!

Section V.C of the IronOaks Rules & Regulations as well as Article IV Section 2.D of the CC&R’s provides further details if necessary. A fine of $100 can be imposed upon any Resident who violates Community Policy (per the Table of Violations and Fines of Policy 5.01 Enforcement & Appeals).

We thank you for being a good neighbor, and helping to keep IronOaks a clean and enjoyable place to live for all.
