Community Services Kind Reminders

Fruit Trees
For those of us with fruit trees, now is the time the fruit starts dropping! Please kindly pick up fruit debris from the ground in your yards. This will prevent rodents from being attracted to the free food. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the community clean.

Tree Trimming Schedule
Tree trimming will continue on the Loop. Once that's completed, they will start trimming trees in Unit 46. Trees will be trimmed every other week until they're complete.

Gates

Gates are timed for one vehicle to pass at a time.  Do not tailgate, as barrier arm will not stop if your vehicle is under it and a car has already passed.

Buildings and Grounds Traffic Test

In the Traffic Study, one of the areas of concern was the Oakwood Clubhouse traffic pattern, the amount of traffic and the speed of that traffic. Soon, homeowners will notice an area East of the Clubhouse roundabout closed. This will detour golf carts and automobiles to turn right and circle the roundabout to exit the Clubhouse parking lot, and those crossing over to turn right before turning left. This is a test to see if safety improves. Please see the map below.

Ironwood Construction News

Construction continues at a feverish pace and the team is excited to be planning soft openings, team training, and a Grand Opening for our homeowners.

Stone & Barrel | We Saved You A Seat

Our homeowners are our priority, and we want to make sure you always have a seat at the table at Stone & Barrel. If you plan on joining us - during peak times, or even when it's slow - give us a quick call a couple of days ahead of time. This helps us during the slow times to schedule staff efficiently, and during peak times, you have a better chance of getting a table. Remember, while Grill on the Green is closed for remodel, we are even busier than normal during those peak times of 5:00pm-6:00pm. The sooner you make a reservation, the better.

Give us a call at 480.317.3605 or make your reservation here.

Pet of the Week!

Molly is a little cat who has already overcome some big challenges in life. At just one year old, Molly was rescued by the Arizona Humane Society's Emergency Animal Medical Technicians after she and dozens of other cats were discovered living in a hoarding situation.

Several of the cats, including Molly, needed immediate medical attention. Unfortunately, the damage to Molly's eyes was so severe AHS' veterinarians had to remove both of them in order to alleviate the pain she was in. After undergoing surgery, she was placed in a loving Foster Hero home, where she was able to rest and recover.

Now, Molly navigates her world by touch and smell. She will need a special adopter who is willing to give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Molly would thrive in a quiet, calm home with a loving family who can give her all the love she deserves. Molly is waiting to meet her new family at the Arizona Humane Society's South Mountain campus. To learn more about her or to make an appointment to meet her, visit azhumane.org/adopt.
