Java with John

In this week's Java with John, General Manager John Reyhons visits the Ironwood Clubhouse to discuss the new menu and hours for Grill on the Green. He also reminds us that the Strategic Survey is out, and while we have had over 1,000 submissions, we need EVERYONE’S opinion to be heard. Plus, Amenity Memberships continue to be sold, and John spreads the word about the Lifestyle Membership, where you can get involved with all the amenities—golf, tennis, pickleball, and fitness.

Phase 1B will begin January 11th, to include: K-12 School Staff, Childcare Workers, Law enforcement/Protective Services, and Adults ages 75+. DEPARTMENT UPDATES

Comment Card Overview

We had a total of six comment cards submitted so far in the new year. They included comments that the temperature in the Dance Studio needs to be adjusted, and that Ironwood’s Grill on the Green should be open on Mondays. Remember, starting next Tuesday, Grill on the Green will be open from 11:00am to 8:00pm Tuesday through Sunday and will be serving their full menu all day. Join us!

Patrol | What does the Patrol Department Do?

The Patrol Department is responsible for making sure that our gates are manned and operational. The staff at the public entry gates records guest information. The Patrol also has a patrol car that traverses our community on a regular basis, which also serves as a deterrent. These are just a few of the items handled. We will be sharing additional roles and responsibilities in future newsletters.

Patrol is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm (closed from 12:00pm to 12:30pm for lunch).

They can be reached by phone at 480.802.4937.

No one will be allowed to enter the office without a mask and an appointment. Thank you.

Guest Gate Entry

Code 2010 for the N. Dobson, Sun Lakes, Robson, and Halley gates is still in effect. Remember, after you type in the code, you must hit the greenish lit button in the center of the console.

Exiting the Community

All of the gates in the community are set to automatically open for exiting. No card or code is required to exit. You do not need to escort your guests when they depart. To exit through the gates, simply approach the gate slowly in your automobile, and the gate will open automatically.

ALD | What Does ALD Stand For and What Do They Do?

ALD stands for Architecture and Landscape Department. This team of three consists of a department manager, a compliance officer, and an administrative assistant. They work within the community to ensure that homes are kept within the set standards. For example, if purple is your favorite color, you can wear it as a sweater, but you cannot paint your home purple. Doing some remodeling? Check with this department first to make sure the work complies with the established guidelines. When should you reach out to the ALD?  Give them a call before you have any work started on your home.

Architecture & Landscape Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm (closed from 12:00pm - 12:30pm for lunch).

They can be reached by phone at 480.802.2776.

No one will be allowed to enter the office without a mask and an appointment. Thank you.
